Clinical Study for Fibromyalgia Pain
fMRI Before and After
Imaging of the brain before and after 10 minutes of CNP therapy.

Background

The brain is a complex network of neural circuits with constant passage of electrical signals between and within brain regions. It is believed that chronic pain is caused by a state of increased signaling between specific centers in the brain.
The CNP technology is designed to interact with these centers and reduce the level of pain signaling activity. As a result, CNP therapy is delivered directly to the brain regardless of where in the body the pain is felt. CNP achieves this interaction at extremely low power levels. In fact the field strength can be comparable to hair dryers and is on the order of 1/10,000 of the static field strength of MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).
PRIMA Device

The Device

The therapy is delivered via a headset-like device that is worn only during the therapy sessions. The device is battery-powered and portable, allowing the user to engage in day-to-day activities such as working at a desk or watching TV while receiving treatment.
